After you’ve completed the first 100 hours of the training, it is possible to gain practical experience in our company or that of other florists during the wedding season. Each wedding requires approximately 20 hours of your time spread over 2-3 days. Weddings are often on the weekends, but may also be booked during the week and the season runs roughly from May through to October. This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills learned throughout the course. It will provide you with networking opportunities within the industry, and potentially discovering whether floristry is a career path you truly wish to pursue. Please note that this placement is unpaid.
