De Styling
Heel langzamerhand is het erin geslopen, als wedding planner wordt er niet alleen van je verwacht om een bruiloft te plannen, maar ook om deze te stylen. Veel wedding planners doen de styling zelf, kiezen samen met het bruidspaar een stijl uit, de kleuren, de bloemen en sommige wedding planners maken soms zelfs een moodboard voor het bruidspaar.
The Styling
It has slowly crept in, as a wedding planner you are not only expected to plan a wedding, but also to style it. Many wedding planners do the styling themselves, choose a theme together with the bridal couple, the colours, the flowers and some wedding planners also make a mood board for the bridal couple.
Direct contact met de bloemist
Bij Trouwen in Toscane hebben we als sinds jaren de rollen verdeeld en doet Roos de wedding planning en Sonja de bloemen en het grootste deel van de styling. Het bruidspaar heeft dan ook altijd direct contact met Sonja. Het grote voordeel van het directe contact met een bloemiste is, dat zij het bruidspaar gelijk heel veel informatie kan geven. Beschikbaarheid, seizoenen, kleuren en natuurlijk kennis over de bloemen en de planten zelf.
Direct contact with the florist
At Tuscany loves Weddings we have divided the roles for years. Roos does the wedding planning and Sonja takes care of the flowers and most of the styling. The bridal couple always has direct contact with Sonja. The great advantage of direct contact with a florist is that she can immediately give the bridal couple a lot of information. Availability, seasons, colors and of course knowledge about the flowers and the plants themselves.
Gepersonaliseerde styling
De laatste paar jaren, wordt de vraag naar een meer gepersonaliseerde styling steeds groter. We zien ook bij de materiaal verhuurders hier in Toscane, dat het aanbod steeds groter wordt op het gebied van tafels, stoelen, tafelkleden, servetten, glazen, bestek en borden. Waar het bruidspaar eerst genoegen nam met een gewoon wit bord, wit servet, silverkleurig bestek en ‘gewone’ wijnglazen , willen zij nu ingesneden glazen, goud bestek en aparte onderborden. Om deze steeds grotere vraag tegemoet gekomen, is Roos zich steeds meer gaan concentreren op de wedding styling. In de komende maanden lift zij dan ook graag een tipje van de sluier op en deelt ze haar kennis, die zij de afgelopen jaren heeft opgedaan in de Toscaanse wedding branch .
Personalised Styling
In the last few years, there has been a growing demand for a more personalised styling. This reflects on the rental companies here in Tuscany. The range is increasing in the field of tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, glasses, cutlery and plates. Where the bridal couple used to settle for a plain white plate, white napkin, silver-coloured cutlery and "normal" wine glasses, they now prefer cut glass, gold cutlery and elaborate plates. To meet this demand, Roos has increasingly focused on wedding styling. In the coming months, she would like to lift a corner of the veil and share her knowledge which she has gained in all these years working in the Tuscan wedding industry.
Nieuwe ideeen
Door annuleringen en verzettingen van de huwelijken van het jaar 2020, hebben Sonja en ik veel tijd gehad om weer eens lekker creatief bezig te zijn. We hebben een mooie photoshoot op het strand georganiseerd EN een gezellige photoshoot in onze eigen studio. Vooral bij de laatste shoot ben ik in detail getreden en heb ik een korte video gemaakt over de styling van de tafel.

New Ideas
Due to cancellations and rescheduling of the weddings of the year 2020, Sonja and I have finally had heaps of time time to get creative. We organised an amazing photoshoot on the beach AND a fun photoshoot in our own studio. Especially on the last shoot, I went into detail and made a short video about the styling of the table.
